⛔ Surface Dressing – Cuckoo Lane, Wraxall
The Parish Council has been informed about the upcoming surface dressing works scheduled for Cuckoo Lane, Wraxall.
These works will be delivered in the following phases between the hours of 08:00 – 17:00:
- Phase 1 – Preparation Works – Scheduled for 04/07/2025 – Multi-traffic lights
- Phase 2 – Surface Dressing – Scheduled 16/07/2025 – Road Closure
- Phase 3– Reinstallation of Road Markings – Scheduled 29/07/2025 – Stop & Go temporary traffic management
North Somerset Council understands that roadworks can be disruptive, especially when road closures are involved. Please be assured that they will do everything possible to maintain access to premises when it is safe to do so. However, due to the nature of surface dressing, it is not possible to pinpoint the exact location of the crew at any given time. Therefore, there may be short periods when access is restricted, particularly when work is taking place directly in front of a property.
To support local access and visibility:
- Advance warning signs will be erected prior to the start of works
- Traffic marshals will be stationed at closure points and key locations to assist with access arrangements
