About The Millennium Green Playing Field

The field at the bottom of The Grove in Wraxall was kindly donated to the Parish Council by the late Lord Wraxall for the benefit of the children of the Parish.

It is a beautiful setting, bounded on three sides by open countryside and accessible by public footpaths. There are views towards Wraxall Church and over to Backwell Hill.

The large playing area gives plenty of space for ball games and is equipped with a zip wire, swings, springer, monkey bars and basket swing.

At the beginning of 2021 the Parish Council invested in an additional feature – an exciting new Adventure Trail. This equipment comprises 12 different play stations including a rope bridge, balance beam and double climbing wall.

A much appreciated pic-nic table allows adults to sit and keep a watchful eye on their children.

The Parish Council are committed to encouraging greater use of the facilities so that local children receive the many benefits of healthy outdoor exercise. The range of play equipment means there is something for children of all ages to enjoy.
