⛔ Road Closure Notice – Weir Lane and Longwood Lane

The Parish Council has been notified of the closure of Weir Lane and Longwood Lane.

The closure is currently scheduled for 25 June 2026 to allow the completion of surface dressing works.

As soon as the work is completed the road will be reopened. The new surface will be ready to use straight after application; however, it will take few days to fully bed in.

Please take extra care when travelling through work areas to protect your vehicle and the crew onsite by:

  • following the temporary speed limits
  • keeping your distance
  • not overtaking.

The installation of road markings following the surface dressing works is due to take place on 2 July 2026.

The works are planned to be carried out between 08:00 and 17:00.

Please note that the programme remains weather dependent and may change at short notice. Signage may show additional days to allow flexibility for changing weather conditions.
