⛔ Notice of Traffic Management – Clevedon Road
As part of reinstatement works following construction of the Hinkley Connection Project, National Grid will be removing a temporary access point on Clevedon Road and restoring the road to its original layout.
The works are expected to take place between Friday 13th March and Friday 27th March 2026.
To carry out this work safely, three-way traffic lights will be in place 24 hours a day. A Traffic Management Operative will be on site between 7:30am and 6:00pm each day to help manage the flow of traffic. A public right of way crosses the works area, and the Traffic Management Operative will be available to assist anyone wishing to cross safely during working hours.
This activity is located near two bus stops servicing Stone-Edge Batch, requiring both to be suspended throughout the duration of work. Residents are encouraged to use the existing bus stops at Tickenham Hill and Ryves Lane during this time.
National Grid have planned this traffic management carefully to minimise disruption while ensuring the teams can work safely and reliably.
