♻️ Reminder – New Recycling Centre Booking System
From Monday 2nd February 2026, residents will need to book a time slot before visiting the Weston-super-Mare site.
The system will then be in place for the Portishead and Backwell sites from Monday 2nd March 2026.
Bookings can be made using the North Somerset Council app or by visiting the North Somerset Council website at the following link:

You can book a slot up to two weeks before your visit and, if there’s space, as little as 10 minutes before a slot starts.
You will get a booking confirmation email with a reference number and reminder emails will also be sent.
For those without access to the internet, bookings can be made online on behalf of friends and family members. Booking online is the quickest, easiest and most cost-effective way to secure a suitable time slot. Calls to the contact centre will be handled by an automated system to collect the necessary booking information.
